1. The petitioner is the unmarried daughter of a deceased employee of Banarhat High School, Jalpaiguri. The father of the petitioner died on November 11, 2020. The mother of the petitioner died on March 18, 2008.

2. The petitioner on December 7, 2023 wrote a letter to the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Jalpaiguri and also the state authorities for release of family pension.

3. The report of the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Jalpaiguri, shows that after the clarification sought for by the Director of Pension, Provident Fund

and Group Insurance, the matter has been more or less resolved and only the second level audit is pending.

4. It is assured by the State authorities that the family pension in favour of the petitioner will be released soon, with all arrears from the date of eligibility.

5. Under such circumstances, necessary Pension Payment Order shall be issued within a period of eight weeks from date and the amount shall be disbursed strictly in accordance with the rules.

6. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

7. There shall be no order as to costs.

8. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
