The petitioner could not deposit the said sum of Rs.10,000/- on 19.04.2025. Consequently, warrant of arrest has been issued by the learned Magistrate on the said date. Learned advocate submits that he would deposit the amount of Rs.10,000/- within a period of seven days, i.e., 17th June, 2025.
Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Jalpaiguri is directed to keep the execution of the
warrant of arrest in abeyance in connection with CR 423 of 2018 till 18th June, 2025. In case, there is any default, the learned Magistrate would revoke the order of abeyance and redirect the issuance of warrant of arrest.
With the aforesaid observations, CRR 242 of 2025 is disposed of.
