Case No.88 of 2022 dated 07.04.2022 under Sections 341/323/324/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

The application for anticipatory bail is urged on the inter alia ground that the incident which led to the dispute related to the theft of a goat. There appears to have been a serious altercation between two groups of persons of the same village. Injuries have been sustained.

Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the case diary and all the statements under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. and the fact that the petitioners as of now has cooperated with the investigation and having considered the arguments of the counsel for the

petitioners and State, we are inclined to allow the application for anticipatory bail.

In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioners shall meet the investigating officer once in a week and as and when required by the investigating officer and on condition that they shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within a fortnight from date.
