The petitioner renews his prayer for bail, which was rejected earlier by a Coordinate Bench on February 2, 2023. We have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and perused the material in the case diary. Eyewitnesses have recorded statements under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure saying that the petitioner shot the victim from point blank range causing death of the victim. Though charge sheet has been filed, given the nature and gravity of the offence and the prima facie material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (DB) No. 272 of 2023 is dismissed.
