The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for direction upon the respondents for regularization of the leave during absence period and to release the salary along with arrears.

The petitioner has made a representation to the President/Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education on 27th December, 2022 but till date the representation of the petitioner has not been considered.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to

the respondent no.4 to consider the representation dated 27th December, 2022 and to pass a reasoned and speaking order after giving personal hearing to the petitioner.

Considered the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner.

This Court is of the view that no purpose would be served by keeping the writ application pending and accordingly, WPA 1209 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.4 to consider the representation dated 27th December, 2022 by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

WPA 1209 of 2023 is thus disposed of.
