Mr. Sandip Guha Roy, Mr. Ananda Paul ... For the Petitioner.
Mr. Ujjwal Luksom, Mr. Sagnik Sankar Sikdar ... For the State.
Pursuant to the earlier direction passed, report has been submitted on behalf of the State which encloses the statement of the victim being recorded by the Officer-inCharge, Women Police Station, Dinhata, Cooch Behar. Let the said report dated 16.06.2025 be kept with the record. Having regard to the statement so made and the materials appearing in the case diary, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM(A) 350 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.
