....For the State The petitioner claims that he is the registered owner of a public motor vehicle and had hired it out to a person to ply it for public use against a monthly payment. The said vehicle was intercepted with 40 bottles of phensedyl which is commercial quantity. The driver of the said vehicle is stated to have been fled away. The petitioner is 27 years old and he is the only accused in the chargesheet. Having heard the Counsels for the petitioner and the State and having carefully gone through the entire case diary, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for anticipatory bail.
C.R.M. (A) No. 313 of 2022 is rejected.
