Heard learned counsel for the parties.

We have considered the case diary including the statements of the minor. Statement shows that the petitioner and the co-accused assaulted her. Her statement is corroborated by medical evidence. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is rejected.
