The petitioner seeks relaxation/modification of the bail condition imposed upon him since he is not able to furnish local surety having landed property and is still languishing in custody.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears that despite being granted bail on 13th June, 2025, the petitioner is still in custody as he is not able to furnish local surety in fulfillment of condition of bail imposed upon him.

In view of the above, the order dated 13th June, 2025 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall furnish bond of Rs.20,000/- with two registered surities of like amount each instead of local surety.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
