The present revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Misc. (Execution) Case No. 48 of 2024 which was filed at the behest of the petitioner for recovery of the arrear maintenance of Rs. 1,80,000/-. The records of the case reflect that on 16.01.2025, the opposite party appeared and he was allowed to leave after payment of Rs.15,000/-. The next date was fixed on 10th April, 2025.

The records also reflect that on 10th April, 2025, no information of payment was filed at the behest of the o.p. The next date, as is reflected from the order-sheet, is on 27th June, 2025.

Accordingly, learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Siliguri is directed to, henceforth, fix dates at least once in a fortnight so that the arrear amount should be recovered within a close proximity of time. The learned Magistrate will not deter from resorting to harsher process of law in case the opposite party adopts any evading means of nonpayment. It is also directed that the dates should be fixed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Siliguri in such manner so that within four months whole of the arrear amount so accrued be liquidated.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 261 of 2025 is disposed of.
