Mr. Deborshi Dhar Mr. Satyajit Paul ..for the petitioner Mr. Momenur Rahman ..for the State The petitioner's grievance pertains to the cancellation of his candidature for the M.R. Dealership on the ground that the land offered as a site for the fair price shop was classified as a "Mobile Tower." The petitioner has argued before this Court that such classification is erroneous. He contends that the land in question was subsequently reclassified as "Bastu." Therefore, the rejection of his candidature on the basis of classification is not legally sustainable. Conversely, Mr.

Momenur Rahman, learned advocate appearing for the State, submits that the petitioner's candidature was not considered as he scored lower than the selected candidate. He has produced the score sheets from the relevant selection process, which indicate that the petitioner obtained a score of 73 out of

100, whereas the selected candidate secured 88 out of 100.

The relevant documents pertaining to the selection process have been provided to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

In view of the above, there is no necessity to keep this writ petition pending.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, granting the petitioner liberty to challenge the selection process based on the documents disclosed before this Court today.

Consequently, WPA of stands disposed of.
