Learned advocate for the State/respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3, 9,10 and 11 is present.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction and/or slow progress of the information which was lodged with the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district as the Inspector-in-Charge refused to accept his letter of complaint.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that subsequently a case being Mirik Police Station Case No. 28 dated 19.06.2024 has been registered for investigation on the basis of the complaint of the present petitioner viz. Bhupendra Subba.

The investigation of the case is in progress. Not even a fortnight has expired since the registration of the case. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach

the jurisdictional Magistrate to get information regarding the progress of the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1278 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
