Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 16.06.2025 in CRM (A) 375 of 2025. Among other things, it was directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner would be released on bail on certain conditions. The order of anticipatory bail was to remain in force till 18.07.2025. However, due to illness and certain exigent circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for bail. He prays for extension of time to surrender. Heard the learned counsel for the State.

It appears that owing to some unforeseen circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender before the jurisdictional Court in time.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, it is directed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court, within four weeks from this date and

pray for bail and the learned jurisdictional Court shall consider the application in accordance with law. The order granting anticipatory bail shall remain in force for four more weeks. With these observations and directions, the application being CRAN 2 of 2026 is disposed of.
