This is an application for consideration and disposal of a representation dated August 14, 2021, written by the petitioner to the respondent no. 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the prayer of the petitioner is for compassionate appointment in view of the death of one Golap Chowdhury.

The State is represented.

The respondent no. 4 is also represented and submits that they have no objection if the prayer for compassionate appointment dated August 14, 2021

(Annexure P-7) at Page 37 of the writ petition is considered.

In view of the aforesaid, WPA 1354 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4 to consider the prayer for compassionate appointment contained in the representation dated August 14, 2021 filed by the petitioner.

I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case and nothing in this order would be binding on the respondent no. 4 who is requested to act in accordance with law in disposing of the representation of the petitioner.

The aforesaid exercise is to be completed by the respondent no. 4 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, with the above observations, WPA No. 1354 of 2021 stands disposed of.
