Kausik Calcutta High Court In the Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri CRM (M) 121 of 2025 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Bagdogra Police Station Case No. 184 of 2023 dated 02.05.2023 under Section 6 of POCSO Act.

The records of the case reflect that in CRM (DB) 109 of 2025 by an order dated 28.04.2025 the Co-ordinate Bench was pleased to pass the following direction :- "7. Learned trial Court is directed to make all endeavour to complete the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of one year from the date of this order keeping in mind the mandatory provisions under the POCSO Act."

In view of the said time period not being over, I am not inclined to accept the prayer advanced by the petitioner.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 121 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
