Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier released on bail on or about 02.08.2019 and since then he has been following the learned advocate. However, he was never informed after the charge-sheet was submitted and as such subsequently, warrant of arrest was issued. Learned advocate undertakes that the petitioner is ready and willing to appear before the learned trial Court. Learned advocate for the State is present.

In case the petitioner appears before the learned Special Court Darjeeling under NDPS Act/trial Court by 21st of July, 2025 in that case the learned Special Court would allow the petitioner to continue on the same bail and bond subject to the condition that the petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of Darjeeling Sadar Police Station.

If on bail, the petitioner shall once in a fortnight meet with a police personnel authorized by the Inspector-inCharge/Officer-in-Charge of Darjeeling Sadar Police Station till further orders are passed modifying the conditions by the learned Special Court.

With the aforesaid observations CRR 266 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
