Ms. Sukanya Adhikary Mr. Sanjay Mazoomder ... for the petitioner Ms. Bedashruti Bose ... for the State Ms. Supriya Singh ... for the GTA The petitioner has prayed for reconsideration of his representation for being a Headmaster of a school under Gorkhaland Territorial Administration ('GTA', for short). He has made representation to GTA which the GTA has not done up till now.

If any step is to be taken in this respect, it is to be taken by the Department of Education, Government of West Bengal whose office is at Bikash Bhaban, Salt Lake and any other office connected to them.

This matter, being a wholly misconceived one, is dismissed.

However, such dismissal will not prevent the petitioner from filing appropriate representation

before the appropriate authority and here, the GTA, in my view, is not the appropriate authority. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
