The Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition, being aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent in not taking any decision on the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2025, submitted to the Officer-in-Charge, Dinhata Police Station, wherein the petitioner sought permission to hold a rally (Tiranga Yatra) on 25.06.2025 from 12 noon to 6:00 PM, commencing from Sanghati Maidan, Dinhata to Dinhata Panch Matha More.

Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the concerned respondent authority will take a final decision of the petitioner's application dated 11.06.2025 by 20.06.2025.

In light of the submissions, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of petitioner's

representation dated 11.06.2025 by 20.06.2025 and to communicate the outcome of such consideration to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been filed by the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Let urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
