Sikdar ... for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that jewelleries have been handed over pursuant to the undertaking given by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State accepts such contention.

The seizure list is available in the Case Diary in respect of the seizures so effected.

In view of the petitioner having complied with the conditions, I am of the opinion that the petitioner is entitled

to be enlarged on anticipatory bail, as such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Allowed. Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer of the case and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and/or under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The petitioner shall meet with the investigating officer once in a week till submission of the charge-sheet.

This order of anticipatory bail will remain in force for a period of six weeks.

Accordingly, CRM(A) 393 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
