Mr. Aditi Shankar Chakraborty, ld. APP Mr. Tapan Bhattacharjee ... for the State Petitioners submit that they are relations/mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the principal accused. The principal accused is already in bail. They have been falsely implicated in the case and they pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the petitioners are absconding since 2019.

We have considered the case diary. We have also perused the order dated 27th February, 2023 when the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners were rejected. In view of the gravity of the offence

and the prima facie involvement of the petitioners, We are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The application for anticipatory bail is thus rejected. [MD. SHABBAR RASHIDI, J.] (RAJARSHI BHARADWAJ, J.)
