None appears on behalf of the opposite party. The petitioner has filed the present application challenging the order passed by the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court, Jalpaiguri dated21.4.2022 wherein the learned Additional District Judge has disposed of the application filed by the wife under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act by directing the petitioner's husband to pay Rs. 7,000/- as pendente lite and Rs. 3,000/- for the litigation cost in six instalments of Rs. 500 each within six months. By an order dated 6th February, 2023, this Court had stayed the operation of the impugned order

till 30th April, 2023 or until further order whichever is earlier subject to the petitioner going to pay Rs. 4000 per month as alimony to the opposite party, wife for herself on ad hoc basis. The order of stay was extended from time to time. The petitioner has handed over the copy of the order passed by the learned Additional District Judge dated 28th April, 2023 passed in MAT N. 144 of 2020 wherein the learned Additional District Judge has decreed the suit ex parte. As the petitioner got ex parte decree and the matrimonial suit has been disposed of, this Court is of the view that the order of maintenance pendente lite passed by the learned Additional District Judge by an order dated 21.4.2022 has come to an end and, accordingly, the order passed by this court dated 6th February, 2023 is confirmed.

In view of the above, CO 85 of 2022 is disposed of.
