Mr. Joyjit Choudhury, learned Additional Advocate General appears virtually on behalf of the alleged contemnor and submits that the order dated March 7, 2024, willful violation of which has complained of, has been complied with. In view of such development, the Contempt proceeding is dropped; consequently, the Rule stands discharged. In response to the Rule issued on the present application for contempt, Mr. Arvind Kumar Meena, District Magistrate, Cooch Behar, the alleged contemnor virtually appears before this Court; his such appearance is dispensed with.

WPCRC 8 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

The Department is directed to send the records to the Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri.
