Mandira Rani Paul And ORS v. National Insurance Company Ltd. And ANR
01.07. 2025
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.2 CIRCUIT BENCH AT JALPAIGURI KB Ct. No. 3 FMA/16/2024 MANDIRA RANI PAUL AND ORS VS NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. AND ANR Mr. Tamal Kr. Sen, Ms. Priyanka Dey, Mr. Milan Ch. Laskar ...for the petitioners.
This matter appears under the heading of correction.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners referred this Court in respect of an order dated 27.09.2024, wherein this Court has directed the insurance company to deposit the interest portion to the office of the learned Registrar, Calcutta High Court, Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri.
It is the contention of the learned Advocate for the petitioners that the insurance company has already deposited the amount as directed by this Court but there is no direction for disbursement of the amount in favour of the petitioners/appellants.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears that the order of the learned Trial Court was modified by the order of this Court in this appeal. All the directions of the learned Tribunal was not set aside. Consequent thereto, the Registrar, Calcutta High Court, Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri shall disburse the amount in favour of the appellants according to the direction of the learned Tribunal.
Let this order be made a part of the order dated 27th September, 2024.
