Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that they is in custody for 173 days and there is a case and counter case against the accused and the victim. It is also submitted that though chargesheet has been filed but copy has not been served upon the petitioners. The petitioners pray for bail.
Learned Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are ample evidence implicating the petitioner in the murder. One of the accused is absconding. Possibility of abscondence of the petitioners cannot be ruled out.
We have considered the case diary. There are evidence implicating the petitioners in the murder.
Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail at this stage.
The application for bail is thus rejected.
