The State of West Bengal & Ors.
with CAN 1 of 2023 CAN 2 of 2023 Mr. Subir Kumar Saha Mr. Pretom Das ... for the State Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh Ms. Supriya Singh ... for the added respondent Re: CAN 2 of 2023 One application for addition of party has been filed by the constable against whom disciplinary proceeding was initiated by the police authority. Now the disciplinary proceeding is complete and punishment has been pronounced as appears from the report filed by the State today. The party to be added as a respondent, i.e., the PSI, wants to be added as a party with the prayer that he should be allowed to join duties as there was an order of this court that he would not be allowed to join the duties without the leave of this court.
Therefore, I add the applicant, namely Krihna Parja a party to this writ application.
CAN 2 of 2023 is allowed.
Re: CAN 1 of 2023 I grant leave to the authorities so that the party who has been added as a respondent, namely Krishna Parja, can join his duty immediately. And as soon as possible.
CAN 1 of 2023 is also allowed.
As the copy of the report which has been filed today has been served right now upon the learned advocates of the respondent nos. 7 to 10 and the petitioner, I adjourn this matter till 4:15 when this matter will be taken up for further hearing.
