1. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Executive Director, Education Department, GTA, Darjeeling for consideration of his prayer for approval of Headmaster of Lamahatta Higher Secondary School.

2. It appears that a representation from the petitioner is pending consideration at the end of the aforesaid authority for nearly six months.

3. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Executive Director, Education Department, GTA, Darjeeling to consider the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law and dispose of the same at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
