Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated. No specific overt act has been attributed to him. There is delay in lodging the complaint. Charge sheet has been submitted. His custodial interrogation is not required. He may be granted anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

The petitioner appears to be the principal accused who dealt the fatal on the victim. Injuries are extremely serious in nature. Delay in lodging the complaint has been explained in the complaint itself.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM (A) 423 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.
