The petitioner prays for bail. The allegation is of abetment to commit suicide. A couple, husband and wife, committed suicide leaving a suicide note wherein the petitioner is named as one of the persons responsible.

Investigation has not yet been completed. Charge sheet is yet to be filed. The petitioner says that he has been in custody for 45 days.

Considering the material in the case diary and nature and gravity of the offence as also the possible extent of complicity of the

petitioner in the alleged crime, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail at this stage particularly because investigation is still going on.
