The petitioner has prayed for compassionate appointment as her mother was a Group-D employee of Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee who expired in the year 2007. The petitioner's grievance is that till date repeatedly the petitioner has been filing representations before the authorities of Cooch Behar Zilla Regulated Market Committee. However, the same has not been responded till date. It has been pointed out that last of such representation was made on 24.05.2024.

Having considered the limited issue on which the petitioner has approached this Court, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the

appropriate authorities who received the representation of the petitioner on 27.05.2024 which was dated 24.05.2024 be considered within a period of four weeks from date and the outcome of the consideration be intimated to the petitioner within a week thereafter.

The writ petition being WPA 1367 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
