1. This is an application for modification of the conditions imposed at the time of granting bail on 07.07.2025 by the Coordinate Bench in connection with CRM (NDPS) 271 of 2025.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has prayed for relaxation in condition of bail with respect to local surety having landed property.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has referred to the order dated 04.07.2025 whereby the Hon'ble Coordinate Bench modified the order of local surety by the order dated 19.06.2025.
4. From the order dated 07.07.2025, it is found that the petitioner was granted bail on certain conditions including a local surety
having landed property and ultimately, the petitioner could not furnish the bond and therefore prays for modification.
5. Considering all the facts and circumstances, the condition of furnishing bond by local surety having landed property is being modified to local surety only, subject to verification of documents regarding identity of local surety, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri.
6. Accordingly, the application being, I.A. No. CRAN 2 of 2025 stands disposed of.
7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of the requisite formalities.
