Ms. Anwesha Chakraborty, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the wife of respondent no.6, Sri Haradhan Singha. In maintenance proceeding the respondent no.6 was directed to make payment of maintenance to the petitioner and an arrangement was made to deduct such amount from the salary of the respondent no.6. Since the maintenance was not released by the authority concerned, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

However, during the pendency of the writ petition respondent no.6 has died on 14th October, 2025 and as such, the present writ petition has become infructuous. She files a copy of the death certificate of the respondent no.6 issued by the Sub-Registrar (Birth &

Death), Gram Panchayat Bagichapur dated 17th November, 2025, which is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition being WPA 1330 of 2025 stands dismissed as being infructuous.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

4.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

5.

There shall be no order as to costs.

6.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
