Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner complains of police inaction. The first petitioner lodged a complaint before the Officer-inCharge, Sahebganj Police Station on January 07, 2025 against the private respondents on several allegations. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no case was registered on the basis of the said complaint. The father of the 1st petitioner continued to be harassed which led to his committing suicide. The circumstances under which he committed suicide are also suspicious. The petitioners lodged another complaint before the authority on June 13, 2025 which has also not been acted upon.

Learned counsel for the State submits that FIR was registered pursuant to the first complaint lodged by the 1st petitioner and charge sheet has been submitted therein. Criminal proceeding has also been initiated on the basis of the 2nd complaint and investigation is in progress.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is disposed of accordingly.

It is expected that the investigation shall continue in accordance with law and culminate in a final report as early as possible.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. There will be no order as to costs.
