The present revisional application has been preferred for quashing of the CR 420 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd court, Alipore including the orders dated 05.04.2023. The subject matter of the application relates to Section 12 of the P.W.D.V Act, 2005. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that because of the distance it is very difficult for the petitioners to go before the jurisdictional court. Such grounds of the petitioners are not acceptable. Petitioners are granted liberty to pray for statutory appeal under Section 29 of the P.W.D.V Act before the jurisdictional District Judge/Sessions Judge. No interference is made so far as the merits of the case is concerned.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 170 of 2023 is disposed of.
