Bhattacharya ...for the Petitioner Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh, Ms. Bedashruti Bose ...for the State The petitioner claims that he has been working as a casual worker under Mathabhanga Panchayat Samity, Cooch Behar for the last 22 years.

The petitioner submits that he is entitled to get the financial benefits in terms of a Government Circular dated February 8, 2019, which is appearing at page 36 of the writ petition.

Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the State on the other hand submits that said memo dated February 8, 2019 is applicable to the Government establishment and its applicability with regard to the Panchayat Karmi needs to be clarified by the State. In view of the submissions made by the respective parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.6 to treat this writ petition as

representation of the writ petitioner and pass a reasoned order with regard to the prayers of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

WPA 1903 of 2022 is disposed of.
