The victim is not represented despite service. Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Statement of the victim/defacto complainant recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure deviates from the contents of the FIR. Upon consideration of the material on record, particularly the injury reports of the victim as well as her statement recorded under Section 164

of the Code of Criminal Procedure, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner Rajesh Oraon be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to provision under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within two weeks from date.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
