Ms. Madhushri Dutta.
...for the Petitioner.
Mr. Aditi Shankar Chakraborty, ld. A.P.P., Mr. Biswarup Roy, Ms. Namrata Das.
...for the State.
Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. It is submitted that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim girl.
Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim girl. It appears that the victim was trafficked for sexual exploitation outside the State of West Bengal.
In view of the materials on record, gravity of offence and as prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
