1. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Block Development officer, Madarihat, Birpara Block to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated October 4, 2018 in accordance with law. A reasoned order shall be passed.

2. If it is found that the petitioner's claim is genuine and the work had been completed by the petitioner, necessary payment shall be made. If it is found that the petitioner is not entitled to the entire claim or is entitled to a partial claim, then such finding shall be reflected in the order to be passed.

3. The entire exercise shall be completed within six weeks from date of communication of this order. Needless to mention that, the petitioner shall be

heard and be allowed to produce all necessary documents in support of his claim. The reasoned order will be communicated to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

5. There shall be no order as to costs.

6. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
