(A) 448 of 2025 In Re : An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure read with Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Sitalkuchi Police Station Case No. 151 of 2023 dated 25.05.2023.

It prima facie appears that there was cross fire at the place of occurrence and the petitioner fled the spot before the police arrived.

Considering the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence, this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary for the purpose of unraveling the truth.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
