The present application has been preferred for relaxation / waiver of condition of bail as incorporated in the order dated 9th July, 2025.
The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner/applicant submits that the petitioner/applicant is a migrant labourer and was working in Kolkata. In view thereof, he could not return and surrender, as directed in the order dated 9th July, 2025. However, immediately thereafter within a month he filed the present application. There had been no deliberate delay on the part of the petitioner/applicant and in the said conspectus, time may be extended to surrender and prefer regular bail. Mr. Acharjee, learned advocate, enters appearance on behalf of the State.
Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and considering the materials on record, this
Court is satisfied with the explanation given by the applicant for having not been able to surrender and pray for regular bail within the time stipulated.
In view thereof, the present application, being IA No.: CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of extending the time till 13th January, 2026 to surrender before the jurisdictional Court and to pray for regular bail.
