Anticipatory bail is sought on the ground that injury occurred between friends who were consuming alcohol at a marriage ceremony. It appears that after consuming alcohol a fight broke out between the petitioner and his friends. The petitioner is stated to have assaulted the complainant with a broken bottle. The victim has received a cut wound on his lip measuring about 21⁄2 inches.

In the backdrop of the above, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail at this stage.
