Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a TET qualified primary school teacher. She wants to apply for transfer on medical ground. However, the concerned Web Portal of the State being the UTSASHREE portal is not in operation now.
Therefore, the petitioner cannot even file her representation seeking transfer.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the DPSC, Cooch Behar submits that in the event, the petitioner wants to pray for transfer, at this stage, an
appropriate representation can be physically made before the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
In view of the above, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a representation in physical form seeking transfer to the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary School Education, respondent no.4 within a fortnight from this date. The same shall be considered by the concerned authorities expeditiously and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four weeks from making such representation. The result of consideration shall be intimated to the petitioner within a week therefrom. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
