Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner was on bail all throughout and failed to appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalpaiguri on 5th May, 2025 for which warrant of arrest was issued against him. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Magistrate within seven days from date. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Magistrate within seven days from date, the learned Magistrate shall allow him to remain on the same bond. In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time frame, the learned Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against him in accordance with law. The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner vide order dated 5th May, 2025 be stayed till 18th July, 2025. The application being CRR 337 of 2025 is disposed of.
