This appeal is preferred against an order dated September 23, 2021 whereby WPA 305 of 2021 was disposed of. The learned Judge directed the respondents in the writ petition to publish the results of the recruitment process in question as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one month from the date of communication of the said order.

The appellants say that the order was passed ex parte. No notice was served on the appellants that on the concerned day, the matter would be taken up. We are not inclined to go into all those factual issues. If the appellants had sufficient cause for not being present before the learned Judge on the day the impugned order was passed, the appellants would be at liberty to approach the learned Single Judge with such cause, in accordance with law.

We have not gone into the merits of the case.

The appeal and the connected application are, accordingly, disposed of.

Affidavits not having been called for, the allegations in the stay application, shall be deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
