Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner was granted bail initially and failed to appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tufanganj on 28th November, 2023 for which warrant of arrest was issued against him. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Magistrate within seven days from date. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Magistrate within seven days from date and prays for bail, the learned Magistrate shall deal with the same in accordance with law.

In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time frame, the learned Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against him in accordance with law. The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner vide order dated 28th November, 2023 be stayed till 18th July, 2025. The application being CRR 339 of 2025 is disposed of.
