Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury ...for the petitioner Mr. Hirak Barman Ms. Pratusha Dutta Chowdhury ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in the subject of Bengali in a secondary school. He has prayed for transfer on such ground of his wife's illness. The application was made in the UTSASHREE portal, but has not been considered by the respondent authorities till date. However, in the meantime, the UTSASHREE portal has stopped functioning.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Commission submits that in such event the petitioner can make a fresh representation before the concerned authorities.

In view of the fact that the UTSASHREE portal is not functioning at the present and an application made in such portal is pending, without prejudice to the same, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a fresh representation in physical mode before the respondent no.3 seeking transfer on such special ground as referred to above, within a fortnight from this date. The same shall be considered by the respondent no.3 expeditiously and in accordance with law, preferably within four weeks therefrom. The outcome of such consideration shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week therefrom.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
