1. The petitioners are two in number. It appears that the court fees has been paid in respect of one petitioner.

2. Hence, the petitioners are directed to deposit the deficit court fees of one petitioner by tomorrow; otherwise, this order will be applicable only in respect of the first petitioner and this writ petition will be deemed to be dismissed in respect of the other.

3. The petitioners claim to be similarly situated as that of Sumit Rai & Ors. in WPA No.933 of 2024 where an order was passed by the Court on September 26, 2024 granting seeking relief to the said Suman Rai and others.

4. It has been submitted that the direction passed by the Court in the afore-mentioned case has been complied with by the respondents.

5. As the answering respondent does not oppose the prayer of the petitioners and there is no opposition on record, accordingly, the Court is inclined

to pass the same direction as passed in the matter of Suman Rai & Ors. (supra).

6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Executive Director, Education Department, GTA to accord the notional benefit to the petitioners on and from their respective dates of empanelment.

7. It is made clear that the petitioners will not be entitled to receive any salary for the period they did not work. Notional benefit will be allowed only for the purpose of calculating retirement benefit to them. Actual financial benefit will be payable only from their respective date of appointment in service.

8. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest without any further delay.

9. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

10. Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
