Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in the year 2022, the petitioner's vehicle was stolen. It could not be recovered and there was no headway in the investigation of the case.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. The vehicle could not be traced. That is why a final report being FRT 871 dated 31.10.2022 was submitted with a notice to the de

facto complainant. However, if any clue is detected in future, the investigation can be reopened.

It appears that the police filed the final report because they did not have even any clue. However, the matter is now pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate and notice has been issued to the petitioner/de facto complainant.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

The writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps before the learned Magistrate.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent certified Photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
