This writ petition has been filed being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent authorities concerned in making payment of the admitted dues arising out of the work in question done by the petitioner.
Learned advocate appearing for the state respondent does not deny and dispute the work done by the petitioner and the admitted dues but he takes
the plea of financial crunch of the state respondents which is not acceptable to this court.
In view the facts and circumstances as appears from record and considering the submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 2088 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the state respondents authority concerned to make payment of the admitted dues in question for the work done by the petitioner, within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, failing which the due amount will carry interest at the rate of 10 per cent p.a. after the expiry of the period stipulated herein. With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 2088 of 2022 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
