The grievance of the petitioner relates to a complaint dated 06.08.2022 which was addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Siliguri Police Commissionerate, Siliguri. The said representation to the Commissioner reflects the grievance regarding non-receipt of free copy of the FIR from Siliguri Police Station and for inaction against one Amal Nandi against whom the case being Siliguri P.S. Case No.719 of 2022 was registered.

In view of the contents of the representation, I direct that free copy of the FIR should be handed over by Inspector-in-Charge, Siliguri Police Station to the de facto complainant/informant. So far as the other prayers are concerned, the same would be considered by the authority in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 2139 of 2022 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if sapplied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
