Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. Although, the petitioner was initially praying for registration of the appeal under the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 upon furnishing a bank guarantee, it is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner would deposit the amount required for registration of the appeal as the appeal needs to be heard out.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to deposit the sum required before the appellate authority and produce the receipt for the same before the concerned authority for registration of the appeal. After registration, the appeal be heard out expeditiously and in accordance with law,

preferably within a period of four months from the date of registration of the appeal.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. .
